The deadline to notify the composition and hazards of consumer and professional products to the European Chemical Agency Poison Centres, in accordance with the Classification, Labelling and Packaging Regulation (EC) 1272/2008, was 1 January 2021

After the end of the Brexit Transition Period, the liability to notify products manufactured in the UK, and exported to the EU, transferred from the manufacturers to the EU Importers.

​

Manufacturers that wish to support Importers without disclosing the composition of their mixtures can still make Poison Centre Notifications and provide the Unique Formulation Identifiers (UFI numbers) to their Importers.

We can prepare and arrange the submission of Poison Centre Notifications on behalf of UK manufacturers or their European customers.
