REACH Regulation for Recycling Companies

REACH, in fact, makes no distinction between recycled and original chemicals. This means that Recovery companies have the same registration responsibilities (for now).

Waste is only exempt for part of the recovery process. As soon as it is put back on the market - it comes under REACH.

If they are "Product" - you have missed the pre-registration deadline and could be ordered to cease all activity by the Health and Safety Executive. More likely - customers could check if you are REACH compliant and your business could be affected.
